Commodore’s cut

Barrel MGA02-107 earned its place as Cut No. 4. A 21-year-old American Light Whiskey is a rare thing—a whiskey that asked for two decades of patience and repaid it with depth few bottles ever reach. Rich and concentrated, generous and complex, it delivers all the reward of long aging with the presence of its 129.02 proof. For a palate that knows what time does to great whiskey, this is a pour worth slowing down for.

Released in Honor

Cut No. 4 honors the 251st birthday of the United States Navy—and every Sailor, past and present, who has answered the call to serve. There is a quiet symmetry in marking 251 years of service with a whiskey that spent 21 of them patiently becoming what it was meant to be. The only regret is that a single barrel yields only so many bottles. Once it's gone, it's gone — the pleasure and the burden of something made once and never again. What remains is the memory of a pour worth the wait, and a salute worth raising.

Commodore's Cut is a salute to those who serve—and giving back is at the heart of everything we do. With each release, we make a charitable contribution to an organization supporting one or more of our four pillars: Military, Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue, and EMS. Every Cut has a cause. The cause for Cut No. 4 is the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
